I hope you all had a wonderful holiday! I was so excited to celebrate Christmas Eve and Day with family (and not in the NICU!), although I did have to take it pretty easy. Since then I’ve been pretty much resting at home, doing simple “nesting” chores. I’m at 36+4 weeks today… so close to making it to term! My cervix is quite dilated and effaced (and has been for some time now), but I’m hoping it will hold up for just a few more days.
Burberry London Coat, St John Sweater (extremely similar version on super sale at Last Call), Citizens of Humanity Maternity Jeans, J. Crew Flats (current style), Gucci Bag (love the version with the long strap but it was way more expensive!)
Since I’ve had so much (unexpected) extra time, I’ve been making and getting through “to do” lists like crazy! Everything’s ready on the baby front, and Ben and I are as prepared as we could be (as first time parents!). Nesting things are steadily getting accomplished… closets are organized, clutter from said closets is making its way on to eBay or donated, plants are being re-potted (and dead ones are finally making it to the trash… there’s more than a few), house is as clean as it could possibly be… oh, how I love organizing and de-cluttering (not just when pregnant, its a weird, permanent obsession). I’m finally starting to take blog pictures again (and post them!). I’m learning the finer details about my camera (finally) and slowly adjusting to using Lightroom for photo editing. I’m getting through some good books and audiobooks that I’ll be sharing. And I’m making sure to spend at least an hour a day on medicine type things (I’ll be so nervous to finally get back to work!). I’m running out of things to do! Kidding. 🙂 Happy New Year!
