Why, Hello There Vintage Hermés

***This post was featured in LINKS À LA MODE: THE IFB WEEKLY ROUND UP… check out the other winners!!***

Ya know, I’m really not part of the Hermés hype. I’ve never had the urge to own any of their products. They are obviously classy, but the handbags at least are way out of my price range. But recently I’ve been in the market for vintage scarves. I think they’re typically better made than newer ones and they are obviously more unique. You can see where this is going now… I saw this one on evilbay and had to have it. The colors are amazing and the floral pattern is perfect.

Blazer: Elizabeth & James (similar here & here and pretty lace one here);
Skirt: Ann Taylor (similar here, and adorable tweed one here); Shoes: L.A.M.B. (old),
Bag: Celine; Scarf: Vintage Hermés

I have to say, the quality is pretty darn good. Especially for being 40 years old. I will definitely consider another vintage Hermés scarf when I get the funds. Maybe for my birthday? Oh, by the way, I wouldn’t generally wear my scarf this way, but I decided I should just to show off the amazing hues.

And a little bit closer now. I could stare at this scarf for hours. Love it. Its going to be absolutely perfect for spring and summer. I guess I’ll have to get a different one for fall and winter, right?
