J. Crew Reviews (LOVE)

Yikes, J. Crew and Sephora have been torturing my credit card. This morning J. Crew added some lovely new arrivals, updated their sale section, and kept their 25% off going (in addition to 8% back from Ebates!). Here are some reviews of the things from the last 25% off sale:

Cashmere rugby stripe sweater (XS) & Petite cafe capri in houndstooth wool (0P) – love both of these. I’m so happy I was able to get both of them from pop-backs ($110 for the sweater, $60 for the pants). The sweater is perfect. Its thicker and so comfy. I love the nice slouch it has. The arms are a little tight, I could not have sized down comfortably. The capri’s are also great! They’re a little itchy, but its do-able. They probably run a little big. I’m planning on wearing these in out lovely WI winters with knee-high socks and pumps 🙂

Pintuck lace shell – LOVE LOVE LOVE this! The color is amazing, and the fit is perfect in the xxs (sized down). I need to wear a nude or a low-cut bra, but that’s not a problem. If I would have know that this top was so lovely, I would have gotten more in other colors.

Vintage thermal tee in stripe – This is a great top, its so nice and comfy. I stayed with the xs as the xxs was a little tight, especially in the arm holes. I like this orange color, even though it now looks a little silly with my reddish hair. I picked this one up in the new pink color, too!

Aaaaaannd the losers from this go-around. The cafe trouser in wool and faded chambre popover. The pants are unlined and thin, which I don’t like. I got them on 0P and they are too tight and too long. The popover is stiff and doesn’t fit very well. I originally wanted to wear it under sweaters for the winter, buts its just not possible with the baggy fit and stiffer material. It would be cute in the summer, it just wasn’t what I was looking for.

Items yet to come (whoops):

Dont add it up. Its painful.
